These reports verify that the amount of physical gold held in the vaults matches the total number of XAU₮ tokens in circulation. If you don't meet this, you can opt for the gold to be sold in the Swiss market for cash, less fees. Regarding fees, there are no ongoing custody fees. A one-time 0.25% fee applies for issuance or redemption directly through Tether. Standard blockchain network gas fees also apply for transfers.
