BlockCentral is a decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem that functions as a professional "DeFi Fund." Its core mission is to utilize a yield-bearing treasury and a hyper-deflationary utility token, $BLOC, to generate sustainable utility for its users. Originally launched as the Stasis Network ($STS), the project rebranded in early 2024 to reflect its focus on professional treasury management and sophisticated automated portfolio tools. Managed by BlockCentral Inc., the ecosystem operates on the Polygon network, combining community-led elements with institutional-grade financial strategies.

The transition from Stasis Network to BlockCentral took place in March 2024. This brand migration involved a token swap where the original $STS tokens were migrated to the new $BLOC tokens at a 1:1 ratio. Users were required to move their tokens and liquidity to new smart contracts on the Polygon network. This move was designed to upgrade the project's infrastructure and align with its new identity as a comprehensive DeFi fund, ensuring all holders maintained their proportional stake in the evolving ecosystem.

The $BLOC token has a fixed initial supply of 75 million with no minting capabilities. It employs a hyper-deflationary model through a strategy called "Principal Resonance," where the treasury buys back and permanently burns tokens to reduce supply. Transactions are subject to a 5% buy tax and a 10% sell tax. These fees are strategically utilized to fund the treasury, provide rewards for staking participants, and fuel the ongoing token burn process, creating a ecosystem where the circulating supply is designed to decrease over time.

Users can acquire and trade $BLOC on major decentralized exchanges within the Polygon ecosystem, as well as on premier centralized trading platforms like LBank. When interacting with the token, it is essential to use the official contract address provided in the project's verified documentation to ensure security. The most common trading pair is $BLOC/wETH. By utilizing established platforms like LBank, users can access liquidity and participate in the ecosystem's growth within a secure trading environment.

BlockCentral offers multiple avenues for generating rewards. Users can participate in single-sided staking, which allows them to earn rewards without the risk of impermanent loss. Liquidity farming is also available for those providing $BLOC/wETH pairs. Additionally, the project features a "Viking Collection" of NFTs that grant holders weekly rewards. Furthermore, an upcoming "Educate-to-Earn" platform called StasisU is being developed, which will reward users for learning about DeFi principles and the specific mechanics of the BlockCentral ecosystem.

The project features "Liquid Decaying NFTs" within its Viking Collection. These NFTs are tied to a percentage of the token supply; as tokens are burned, surplus amounts are distributed to NFT holders as rewards. The community is also organized into tiered access levels on their official communication platforms. "The Guild" is for active holders, while "Asgard" serves as an exclusive tier for major stakeholders. These tiers provide different levels of ecosystem engagement and were established to foster a dedicated and informed community of participants.
