MeromAI is a human-powered AI platform built on open-source models, leveraging a globally distributed network. It aims to democratize AI development by offering a decentralized alternative to large corporations currently dominating the AI sector. The project encourages human participation and the contribution of computing power to train open-source AI models, fostering a more inclusive and accessible AI ecosystem.

The $AIMR token is a utility token designed to incentivize participation within the MeromAI decentralized AI platform. It has a maximum total supply of 1 billion tokens. Users can earn points, convertible to $AIMR, by engaging in activities such as submitting prompts, curating responses, rating outputs, and providing computing power. $AIMR also facilitates payments for services and products within the MeromAI ecosystem, enables staking for rewards, and grants participation in governance decisions. It further provides access to decentralized finance applications and NFTs.

MeromAI integrates artificial intelligence with blockchain to provide advanced data analytics and decision-making capabilities. It employs a distinctive consensus mechanism for enhanced transaction efficiency and reduced energy consumption. The project operates on the Ethereum network, utilizing its infrastructure for smart contracts and decentralized applications, and is also available on other networks like Base and WAX. The platform uses human prompts and responses to build AI chat models and applies reinforcement learning from human feedback to train language models.

Users can earn points by contributing to the platform through activities such as creating and responding to prompts, rating and tagging results, and providing computing power. These points are convertible into $AIMR tokens. Additional earning opportunities include DePIN Staking and participating in "AIMR Rush" tasks often facilitated through community channels. MeromAI was launched in 2023. Its initial phase, Epoch I (beginning June 2023), focused on designing and building the decentralized, human-powered, open-source AI platform and pioneering the crowdsourcing of AI dataset curation. The project's roadmap outlines future development phases, which include implementing features like prompts, responses, leaderboards, ranking, rating systems, chat functionalities, reputation mechanisms, and various integrations to expand the platform's capabilities.
