GrabCoinClub (GC) is a crypto and Web3 project centered around a 3D metaverse role-playing game (MRPG) within the MetaMind Metaverse. This game combines elements of economic strategy, a 3D shooter, a role-playing game, and a space simulator. The GC token serves as the primary in-game currency for GrabCoinClub. The ecosystem allows players to earn and engage in the buying and selling of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and semi-fungible tokens (SFTs). These digital assets are categorized into NFT-Avatars, NFT-Artifacts, and SFT-Artifacts. The project is built on the Polygon blockchain network. A core objective of GrabCoinClub is to establish a sustainable Play-to-Earn system, providing a digital economy where players can earn within the game, thereby creating demand for the token and attracting more users. Future plans for the project include transferring management to a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). It is important to note that a separate entity, the ride-hailing super-app Grab, has also launched its own Web3 services. These initiatives allow Grab users in Singapore to set up blockchain-enabled wallets, earn rewards and collectibles, and utilize NFT vouchers within the Grab app. This development is part of a partnership with Circle and aims to integrate digital asset wallets and stablecoin settlement into everyday consumer experiences across Asia, including enabling GrabPay merchants to accept stablecoin payments.
