FEATHER (FEA) serves as a core utility token within the blockchain game, Night Crows. Its primary function is in the game's advanced Glider system. Players use FEA as the main material to craft the Aircraft Toolbox, an essential item for upgrading, repairing, or acquiring advanced gliders, which are vital for aerial transportation and combat. Each FEA token is directly backed 1:1 by an in-game resource known as "Piece of the Sky" or "Celestial Piece."

To mint FEA tokens, players must first reach Character Level 45 to unlock the "TOKEN" menu in the game. The key material required is "Piece of the Sky" (Unbound version). Minting also incurs a fee in vDIA (Value Added Diamonds) and a small amount of WEMIX for gas fees. A linked blockchain wallet is necessary to complete the minting process.

Several factors can lead to a failed FEA minting attempt. Common reasons include insufficient WEMIX in the linked wallet to cover gas fees. Additionally, FEA has a maximum supply limit of 10 million tokens. If the circulating supply reaches this cap, minting will be temporarily paused until existing tokens are "burned" (exchanged back into in-game resources). Furthermore, only "Unbound" versions of "Piece of the Sky," which are tradeable in the in-game exchange, can be used for minting, not "Bound" versions.

Players can trade FEA tokens on a decentralized exchange (DEX). The primary trading pair for FEA is typically against $CROW, which is the main token of the Night Crows game. The general process involves players first trading their FEA for CROW. Subsequently, they can swap CROW for other cryptocurrencies, such as WEMIX or stablecoins like WEMIX$ or USDT, depending on their preferences and the available trading pairs on the platform.

Diamonds are the game's premium currency, typically acquired through real-money purchases (in-app purchases). Crucially, these Diamonds cannot be used for minting tokens like FEA. In contrast, vDIA (Value Added Diamonds) are earned by players when they successfully sell items to other players through the in-game Exchange. Only vDIA can be utilized as a fee for minting both FEA and the primary $CROW token, making it a critical currency for blockchain integration.

Yes, FEA's value is connected to the $CROW token, as it operates within the broader "CROW Market" ecosystem. While FEA has its own market dynamics influenced by player demand for gliders, its interdependence with CROW is significant. Fluctuations in the price of CROW can indirectly affect the minting fee for FEA, as this fee is often calculated based on CROW's average market price.
