Cult DAO is a decentralized venture capital protocol designed to fund "revolutionaries" and technologies that challenge centralized financial and governmental systems. It operates as a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) where the community decides which projects receive funding. The project was founded by an anonymous developer known as Mr. O'Modulus, who remains undoxxed to ensure the ecosystem is led by its code and decentralization rather than a central figurehead.

The DAO uses a system of checks and balances to prevent corruption. The "Guardians" are the top 50 holders of dCULT (staked CULT). Their sole responsibility is to submit funding proposals for decentralized projects. However, Guardians are strictly forbidden from voting on these proposals. The power to vote resides with "The Many," which includes all dCULT holders who are not in the top 50. This ensures that those who propose the funding cannot influence the final decision.

CULT is the liquid, tradable token used within the ecosystem. A 0.4% tax is applied to every CULT transaction, which is directed to the DAO treasury to fund future proposals. dCULT is the "proof of stake" token received when users stake their CULT. Holding dCULT is required to participate in governance, either by submitting proposals as a Guardian or voting as part of The Many. Stakers also benefit from a redistribution mechanism when funded projects provide returns.

RVLT (Revolt) is a sister token built on the Polygon network that focuses on the "Revolt 2 Earn" concept. It rewards individual community members for contributing to the ecosystem through social media advocacy and spreading the project's manifesto. After a staking contract exploit in late 2023, the team launched a migration portal for users to swap their old RVLT for a new, secure version at a 1:1 ratio, ensuring the continued safety of the community's assets.

Modulus ZK is a Zero-Knowledge (ZK) Rollup Layer 2 blockchain infrastructure developed by Cult DAO. This development marks a transition for the project into becoming a blockchain provider. Within this new ecosystem, CULT is designed to serve as the native gas token, providing the token with additional utility beyond governance and venture funding. This expansion into ZK technology aims to offer scalable and private infrastructure for decentralized applications.

The "Silent Heroes" airdrop involves the $MOD token, the native asset of the Modulus network. It specifically targets the "middle class" of the crypto community—genuine, long-term participants who have been active in the space but are often overlooked by major network distributions. To ensure a fair launch, the project disqualifies "airdrop farmers" who utilize bot farms or automated task-based reward platforms. Instead, it prioritizes real users who contribute to technological discourse and community growth.
