This allows for transactional privacy while maintaining the integrity and security of the blockchain network.
Yes, Zcash is indeed planning and in the process of transitioning from its current Proof of Work (PoW) consensus mechanism, which relies on mining, to a Proof of Stake (PoS) system. This significant change is a key focus for the Electric Coin Co. (ECC) and Shielded Labs.
