Meteora is a DeFi platform building on the SOL (Solana) ecosystem. It aims to address issues in memecoin creation and trading — specifically, the claim is that many memecoins fade quickly and holders lose value; Meteora says it aims to “change this fundamental issue”.It reportedly has “two main products”: lending aggregation vaults + dynamic liquidity pools. According to a news source, it generated a large amount of fees (on Solana) and in some 24-h periods apparently outranked Solana itself in fees generated.
