Crypto analyst and creator of the Stock-to-Flow (S2F) model PlanB, has discussed four possible outcomes for Bitcoin’s current bear market. The analysis follows a sharp drawdown of over 40% from Bitcoin’s all-time high of above $126,000.

Bitcoin is gaining ground at the start of the year, rising about 10% in its first week and trading close to levels that some analysts see as a gateway to a new all-time high.

The crypto market has entered another decline, with total capitalization falling to $3.69 trillion, marking a 1.21% drop over the past 24 hours. Bitcoin trades at $109,745, down 0.45%, while Ethereum has dropped 1.87% to $3,843.

The coming week will see several major token unlocks releasing over $650 million in tokens scheduled for release. According to CryptoRank data, leading the list are ASTER, PUMP, ARB, STBL, SEI, DBR, and STRK. Unlocks add circulating supply, test liquidity, and often set short-term trading ranges. Mixed momentum across these names suggests choppy price action into and after the events.

Forget the August slump the market has seen in past years as 2025 is shaping up to be a very different story. While the crypto market has been shaky, some altcoins are showing strong signs of bouncing back beneath the surface.
