Separately, the name xPACK is associated with a decentralized, over-collateralized stablecoin protocol. This project operates through smart contract vaults where users can deposit collateral assets to mint a decentralized stablecoin. A core component of this protocol is the Stability Pool, which ensures the system remains solvent. Participants can deposit tokens into this pool to assist in the liquidation process of under-collateralized vaults, earning rewards in the form of discounted assets and governance incentives. This version of the project is often linked to liquid staking derivatives on other networks such as Cronos, aiming to improve capital efficiency for decentralized finance users. The project as a whole prioritizes security and decentralization. The wallet-based version utilizes audited, non-custodial architecture to ensure users maintain control of their private keys and data. Meanwhile, the stablecoin protocol version relies on autonomous smart contracts to manage debt positions and maintain the stability of its minted assets.
