Web Agents - Autoppia is a specialized subnet within the Bittensor ecosystem designed to incentivize the creation of autonomous AI workers. These agents are trained to navigate the web with human-like reasoning to complete complex business workflows, such as managing CRM systems or reconciling invoices. Unlike standard bots, these agents interact directly with web interfaces, allowing them to perform tasks across various platforms without requiring dedicated API access.

The Infinite Web Arena (IWA) is a core feature of the project that serves as a continuous, synthetic benchmark. It generates dynamic and novel web-based challenges to test the capabilities of AI agents. Unlike static datasets that AI models might memorize, the IWA ensures that agents must use real-time reasoning and adaptation to solve tasks. This process forces the agents to handle real-world UI changes and unexpected interface updates autonomously.

Traditional RPA tools are often brittle because they rely on fixed scripts; if a website moves a button or changes its layout, the automation fails. In contrast, Autoppia’s agents utilize Large Language Models to perceive and reason about web environments. This allows them to navigate through unexpected pop-ups or structural changes by understanding the context of a page, making them far more robust and flexible for long-term business automation.

The ecosystem utilizes a dual-token structure. SN36 is the Bittensor subnet token used to reward the miners and validators who provide the computational power and verification for the network. In contrast, $PIA serves as the utility token for the Autoppia platform and marketplace. It is used for tasks such as hiring AI workers, publishing new agents, and providing incentives for developers building within the marketplace environment.

Participants are rewarded through a mechanism called Dynamic Zero, which promotes high-quality performance. Miners run AI agents to solve web-based tasks, and those who rank highest on the Infinite Web Arena leaderboard receive the majority of the network emissions. Validators are responsible for hosting the testing environments, distributing challenges, and scoring miner outputs based on their success in completing the assigned workflows accurately and efficiently.

Autoppia Studio is a no-code platform that allows businesses to visually design and deploy custom workflows for AI agents. It aims to simplify the creation of autonomous operations, enabling users to hire AI workers for tasks like lead generation and data intelligence.
