Once the building or item is finished, the Sparklet is returned to the user to be used again. Beyond individual players, Sparklet is used by third-party developers and brands to establish a presence in the Upland world. Major partners, including organizations like FIFA and the NFLPA, use the platform and its utility token for fan engagement and the creation of unique digital collectibles. Entrepreneurs within the game use the token to run virtual businesses called Metaventures, which can include shops, factories, and showrooms. Players can acquire Sparklet through various in-game activities such as treasure hunts, community contests, and daily login rewards. It can also be earned by participating in the manufacturing of user-generated content or by renting it out to other players who need extra resources for their own construction projects. The project aims for progressive decentralization, allowing the community to participate in governance decisions regarding the future of the ecosystem.
