Tangible is a Web3 platform designed to connect physical assets with blockchain technology. It allows users to buy valuable real-world goods using cryptocurrency, converting these items into Tangible Non-Fungible Tokens (TNFTs). These TNFTs represent ownership of the underlying physical asset, which is securely stored and insured in Tangible's facilities. The goal is to create a liquid market for illiquid alternative assets like art, wine, jewelry, and real estate, making them accessible to a broader range of investors, including those holding cryptocurrency.

TNGBL is the native governance token for the Tangible Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO). Its primary utilities include governance rights, allowing holders to vote on protocol changes. Furthermore, all fees generated from the Tangible Marketplace are directed to TNGBL token lockers. Specifically, 33% of these fees are used to buy and burn TNGBL tokens, while the remaining 66% are distributed to users who have locked their TNGBL in 3,3+ NFTs. The token can also be used for arbitrage trading and earning yield through lending.

Tangible supports the tokenization of various valuable physical goods from trusted suppliers. Currently, these include watches, fine wine, real estate, and investment-grade gold. For real estate tokenization, properties are housed within local Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs). TNFT holders acquire beneficial ownership of these SPVs, either as a full or fractional share. Rental income generated from these properties is paid directly to TNFT holders in USDC. This system enables fractional ownership, allowing individuals globally to become buy-to-let landlords. Tangible Custody manages these properties for an annual fee, ensuring smooth operation. Real estate yield for tokenized portfolios comes from rental income, addressing concerns about market volatility.

Yes, all physical assets tokenized by Tangible are both insured and authenticated. Properties maintain up-to-date property insurance. Other goods, such as gold bars, are insured from the moment of purchase throughout their storage period. Authentication is guaranteed because only Tangible Custody is authorized to mint TNFTs. Furthermore, all physical goods are sourced exclusively from reputable and thoroughly audited suppliers, ensuring their authenticity and quality before tokenization.
