SuperWalk employs a dual-token economy. $WALK is the primary utility token, earned daily for physical activity in both Basic and Pro modes. It is primarily used for common in-app actions such as shoe repairs. In contrast, $GRND is the governance token, characterized by a limited supply of 1 billion. $GRND is utilized for high-level ecosystem actions, including advanced NFT shoe upgrades, synthesis, and participating in critical project governance decisions, making it central to the long-term strategic development and advanced features of SuperWalk.

GRND tokens provide several key utilities. Holders can use GRND to enhance their NFT shoes, enabling high-tier leveling and unlocking additional option slots to boost in-game performance. Furthermore, GRND is essential for participating in the SuperWalk DAO, allowing users to vote on important project proposals and ecosystem changes. Staking GRND tokens provides rewards and grants "xGRND" for increased voting power. The token also facilitates integration with partner platforms, such as using GRND or NFT shoes within metaverse environments like ZEPETO, expanding its utility beyond the core app.

Unlike $WALK, which is accessible through both Basic and Pro modes, earning $GRND typically requires engagement in Pro Mode. This means users must own an NFT shoe to qualify. SuperWalk GRND operates across multiple blockchain networks due to the project's strategic expansions. Its primary home is on Kaia (formerly Klaytn), where much of its initial ecosystem was built. To enhance DeFi accessibility, GRND is also supported on Arbitrum.
