SkyDust (SDT) is the native utility token of the SkyNity ecosystem, a Web3 strategy MMO built on the Base blockchain. It serves as the core resource for the game’s economy, allowing players to participate in seasonal tournaments, engage with strategic in-game mechanics, and earn rewards through competitive play. The project combines classic 4X strategy elements with a blockchain-based infrastructure to create a dynamic gaming environment.

SkyNity utilizes a Proof-of-Play model designed to address the sustainability challenges found in early blockchain games. Unlike inflationary models that rely on constant token minting, Proof-of-Play is tournament-based and deflationary. Rewards are distributed from a seasonal prize pool based on player performance. Additionally, the ecosystem implements a burn mechanic where a percentage of tokens collected during a season is permanently removed from circulation to support long-term stability.

SkyDust (SDT) is available for trading on decentralized exchanges (DEXs) within the Base network and on centralized platforms such as LBank. The SkyNity ecosystem features a dual-currency structure. SDT is the tradable, on-chain blockchain token used for external transactions and seasonal payouts. In contrast, rSDT (raw SkyDust) is an in-game currency used for active gameplay, such as recruiting units, casting spells, and upgrading buildings. Players must convert their SDT into rSDT to perform these specific actions within the game environment.

SkyLand NFTs are unique digital assets representing flying islands that players own within the game. These NFTs are essential for accessing the beta map and provide various strategic advantages. Each SkyLand offers different skill boosts, such as improved Attack, Defense, or Mining Speed, which are categorized under four elemental themes: Fire, Water, Air, and Earth. These attributes allow players to specialize their strategy and optimize their performance in seasonal competitions.

Earnings in SkyNity are primarily centered around Seasonal Leaderboards. Players compete to mine resources at the center of the game map and rise through the rankings. At the end of each season, the top-performing players receive a share of the accumulated prize pool. During early phases, players can also participate via official community channels to access test versions of the token and complete in-game quests, which may qualify them for future distribution events.
