The ticker change from $DVPN to $P2P marks the project's evolution from a decentralized VPN service into a broader peer-to-peer bandwidth marketplace. This expansion enables the network to support diverse applications such as web scraping and AI data training. For token holders, this is a cosmetic rebranding; no manual swap is required. The total supply remains the same, and major exchanges like LBank have updated the ticker automatically to reflect the new branding.

The $P2P token is the native utility asset of the Sentinel Layer-1 blockchain. It is used as the primary medium of exchange for purchasing bandwidth from node operators. Additionally, users can stake $P2P to secure the network and participate in governance by voting on protocol upgrades. A key feature of its tokenomics is a revenue-sharing model where 20% of all node revenue generated on the network is distributed back to token stakers.
