The dispute between RioDeFi and MANTRA, which stemmed from shared origins among their founders, was resolved through an amicable settlement. Both parties released a joint statement confirming that all legal actions were discontinued. The resolution involved no findings of wrongdoing or misappropriation of assets. This settlement effectively cleared the legal path for RioDeFi to continue its independent development and focus on its roadmap without the burden of ongoing litigation.

RFUEL serves as the native utility token and "gas" for the RioDeFi network. It has three primary functions: first, it is used to pay for transaction fees for all operations conducted on RioChain; second, it is utilized for staking, allowing users to support network security while earning rewards; and third, it serves as a governance tool, granting holders the ability to participate in ecosystem voting processes. These utilities ensure RFUEL is integrated into the daily functionality of the chain.

Yes, RFUEL has a capped total supply of 1 billion tokens. To promote long-term ecosystem health, the project established a burning mechanism related to its "New User Incentive" tokens. Specifically, approximately 50 million tokens were designated to be burned by January 31, 2026, if they were not utilized for transaction fees. This deflationary approach is designed to balance the supply based on actual network activity and user adoption.

RFUEL is available on multiple chains, including Ethereum (ERC-20) and BNB Chain (BEP-20). Users can move their tokens between these networks using supported bridge protocols like PolyNetwork. Staking is primarily facilitated through the official RioWallet, available for mobile and web users, or via partner decentralized finance pools. Many of these staking opportunities operate on a 30-day renewal cycle, allowing participants to earn rewards for securing the network over defined periods.
