Predi by Virtuals is a decentralized protocol built on the Base network that merges artificial intelligence with prediction markets. Its flagship product is PrediBot, an AI agent that allows users to create and participate in prediction markets using natural language. Developed by the PredictBase team, it serves as a key component of the Virtuals Protocol ecosystem. The project aims to simplify the betting experience by integrating social media interactions with on-chain execution, making prediction markets more accessible to a global audience.

PrediBot functions as an AI-social layer that parses natural language to execute transactions. Users can interact with the bot on platform X by tweeting their predictions or intents. The AI agent analyzes the text, matches it to a live market, and performs the on-chain action automatically. To lower the barrier to entry, PrediBot creates a managed wallet based on the user's social identity. This eliminates the need for manual dApp connections or deep crypto expertise, allowing for seamless participation through simple social interactions.

The main difference lies in its AI-social integration. While traditional platforms typically require a specialized dApp interface and manual wallet connections, Predi enables users to bet via social media interactions. It is part of the emerging "Agentic Economy," being the first prediction market AI agent to interact with other agents like AIXBT. This focus on AI-to-AI and AI-to-human social interaction provides a more intuitive and frictionless experience compared to standard decentralized prediction markets.

The $PREDI token is the native currency of the ecosystem, utilized for governance, staking, and protocol value capture. It features a specific deflationary mechanism where 25% of all fees generated by PrediBot are used for a "Buyback and Burn" program. This process involves purchasing tokens from the market and permanently removing them from circulation to create deflationary pressure. Additionally, token holders can participate in governance to influence the direction of the protocol and its various AI-driven features.

The protocol uses a Staking Weight system to distribute rewards based on user commitment. Users earn "Points" as a proxy for their network contribution, which determines their share of the reward pool for each epoch. A "Lock Duration" multiplier is applied, meaning that users who commit to longer staking periods receive a higher share of rewards and increased voting power. Users should be aware that adding more tokens to an existing stake may reset the lock timer, requiring strategic management of their staking positions.

$PREDI is available for trading on both decentralized and centralized platforms. It is primarily traded on Uniswap (V2/V3) within the Base network. For users who prefer the convenience of centralized exchanges, $PREDI is supported by major platforms such as LBank.
