Pomerium Governance, on the other hand, is responsible for the circulation and management of the ecosystem's governance token, PMG, through its "Guardians" game data verification system. The Pomerium Ecosystem Token, PMG, serves as the primary utility and governance token within the project's ecosystem. Its functions include supporting core operations, facilitating rewards, and enabling governance. PMG holders can participate in community governance, and the token is central to the Guardians system, where users who run Guardian software verify gaming data and earn PMG as incentives for ensuring data integrity. Users can also stake PMG tokens to contribute to the network's stability and security. Additionally, PMG can be utilized for various services within the Pomerium ecosystem, such as swaps and minting, and third-party Web2 games that join the ecosystem may purchase PMG for using Pomerium's services. The project intends to use a majority of its platform profits to buy back PMG from the market. Pomerium employs a dual-token model, featuring PMG and PMR. While PMG is the ecosystem and governance token, PMR is specifically designed as the in-game rewards token, earned through gameplay and used for in-game utilities like power-ups and character enhancements. The total supply of PMG tokens is 1,000,000,000. The platform's technical approach includes a Play-to-Act (P2A) model for user rewards and a hybrid system that combines traditional gaming servers with blockchain technology to ensure both smooth gameplay and secure on-chain record-keeping. Middleware solutions are key to allowing existing Web2 games to seamlessly integrate Web3 features.
