The Maker, acting as a liquidity provider, then sends the equivalent amount (minus fees) to the Sender on the destination network. This process often involves direct wallet-to-wallet transfers, contributing to its speed and lower gas fees. It employs an optimistic mechanism based on SPV for high-frequency transfers and uses smart contracts for dispute resolution.
Which networks and tokens does Orbiter Finance support?
Orbiter Finance supports over 19 networks, including major ones like Ethereum, zkSync Era, StarkNet, Linea, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Scroll, and BNB Chain. It primarily facilitates transfers of ETH and ERC-20 tokens. Currently, its token selection is limited to approximately five assets.
