These derivatives can then be traded on popular decentralized exchanges or swapped for other NFTs within the same pool. This mechanism provides a permissionless way for collectors and creators to find liquidity for their digital assets without needing to wait for a specific buyer. Beyond NFT20, the DAO has developed several other Web3 tools and applications, including an NFT indexer and various blockchain-based games. The NFT indexer is a technical resource that allows developers to query ownership data, transfer history, and metadata across different collections. This focus on building foundational infrastructure aims to support the broader growth of the digital creative economy. The MUSE token is the native governance and utility asset of the ecosystem. Its primary function is to empower the community to direct the development of the protocol. Token holders can propose and vote on key decisions, such as treasury management, product roadmaps, and protocol upgrades. Additionally, MUSE features a staking mechanism where holders can deposit their tokens to participate in the value generated by the ecosystem. For instance, a portion of the fees collected by the NFT20 protocol is distributed to users who stake their MUSE tokens, aligning the interests of the community with the success of the platform. The overarching vision of Muse DAO is to foster a community-driven environment where creators, artists, and developers can collaborate and monetize their work without relying on traditional intermediaries. By providing tools for decentralized funding and asset tokenization, the project seeks to revolutionize how value is distributed and managed in the digital arts and gaming sectors.
