Metaxy is a decentralized, NFT-based fighting game featuring diverse anime-inspired characters. It aims to build a "Multiverse" where players summon superheroes for battles and earn rewards like NFT collectibles and MXY tokens. The game offers both real-time player-vs-player (PvP) combat and player-vs-environment (PvE) story modes with AI-driven adversaries, providing a rich and engaging experience.

The MXY token is Metaxy's native cryptocurrency, serving multiple key functions. Players earn MXY by completing in-game tasks, engaging in PvP/PvE, and participating in challenges or leagues. It's used for in-game transactions, such as swapping for coins to upgrade characters and purchasing "Souls" for character evolution. MXY can also be staked alongside NFT assets to earn further rewards, and it facilitates access to DeFi applications and governance decisions within the platform.

Players can engage in real-time PvP battles or explore PvE narrative storylines. The game initially provides four free characters to allow new users to experience gameplay. However, earning MXY tokens requires the use of NFT characters, which can be acquired through secondary marketplaces or by opening in-game packages. As players engage, they can earn NFT collectibles and MXY tokens as rewards, which are then tradable on secondary markets.

Metaxy is set in a fantasy world where superheroes are summoned for a "Multiverse War." The game features unique anime-inspired characters, each possessing distinct appearances and fighting attributes that evolve with player experience. The central narrative revolves around Metaxy Superheroes uniting to combat five formidable Evil Gods—Zamora, Coycytus, Demagri, Sabe, and Mera—who seek to dominate the multiverse, along with their dark clones.

Metaxy (MXY) secures its network using a Proof of Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism. This method allows validators to contribute to block creation based on the amount of tokens they have staked. PoS is designed to incentivize honest participation among network members, thereby enhancing overall network security and integrity. Additionally, this mechanism aims to improve the platform's energy efficiency and scalability.

Metaxy has encountered challenges, particularly regarding extreme price volatility, which can impact investor sentiment.
