y3d3s is a 3x Short Leveraged ETF token listed on LBank. It is designed to track the inverse price movement of Y3D, the native token of the y3d.finance protocol. y3d.finance is a DeFi yield optimizer that incentivizes liquidity by combining yield farming features with specific game-theory mechanics. By holding y3d3s, traders gain 3x leveraged exposure to the downward price movements of the Y3D asset.

Unlike traditional margin or futures contracts, y3d3s does not have a liquidation price. LBank's leveraged tokens utilize a rebalancing mechanism to manage leverage and prevent the token value from hitting zero. While this eliminates the risk of total liquidation common in futures, the token's value can still decrease significantly if the market moves against the position or stays volatile.

Price decay, or volatility drag, occurs because of the daily rebalancing required to maintain the 3x leverage ratio. In a sideways or choppy market where the price of the underlying Y3D asset fluctuates without a clear trend, the constant rebalancing process mathematically erodes the token's Net Asset Value. This means the token can lose value even if the underlying asset's price remains the same over a period.

LBank charges a daily management fee to maintain the leveraged ETF's position and cover operational costs like hedging. For y3d3s, this fee is typically 0.1% per level of leverage, resulting in a total daily charge of 0.3%. This fee is not charged as a separate transaction but is instead deducted directly from the token’s Net Asset Value on a daily basis.

Share consolidation, or a reverse split, is a mechanism LBank uses when the unit price of a leveraged token falls below a specific threshold. The exchange merges multiple existing shares into a single new share to increase the nominal price. While your total number of tokens will decrease, the total value of your holdings remains identical at the time of the event. This process is standard for maintaining efficient trading and price precision.

The main risks include leverage risk, where a price increase in the underlying Y3D asset results in a triple-magnified loss for y3d3s holders. Additionally, the token is susceptible to volatility drag and daily management fees, making it unsuitable for long-term holding.
