Krogan is an interstellar Play-to-Earn (P2E) game developed on the MultiversX blockchain. It offers a simulated economy where players embark on battles and quests to achieve supremacy within the expansive Kroganverse. The game integrates a collection of 10,000 distinct NFT spaceships, enabling participants to mine valuable resources, establish and expand companies, colonize various planets, and engage in large-scale interstellar conflicts.

The KRO token is integral to the Krogan ecosystem, serving several key functions. It enables governance, allowing holders to stake tokens and participate in Faction DAOs to influence in-game decisions. KRO can also be staked for ecosystem rewards. As the primary in-game currency, KRO facilitates player activities such as trading and upgrading items, establishing companies, and colonizing planets. Factions use KRO to expand their territories, bolster defenses, and advance technological research. Furthermore, KRO functions as the marketplace currency, offering 0% commission on transactions within the Krogan marketplace.

KRO is structured as a community-owned token with a fixed maximum supply of 250,000,000 tokens. The project did not conduct private sales, allocating a significant 70% of the total supply to its user base. The distribution plan designates 50% for the KRO-ANT liquidity pool, 25% for KRO staking, 15% for in-game competitions, and 10% for Krogan NFT staking. A deflationary mechanism is in place, with a 1% burn applied to KRO spent by players and factions within the game, ensuring that no new KRO tokens will be minted.

Krogan's roadmap is structured into distinct development stages. "Stage 1: Ignite!" concentrated on dynamic NFT attributes, KRO Tokenomics V2.0, advanced staking pools, Devnet access for early testers, and a Mainnet Beta release. "Stage 2: Showcase" focuses on marketplace enhancements, addressing game bugs, implementing feature requests, integrating new partners, and launching Game V1.0. "Stage 3: Ecosystem growth" includes plans for comprehensive game and player statistics dashboards, a visual upgrade (V2.0) for Krogan Spaceships, the introduction of Krogan Arena, and various ecosystem tools. "Stage 4: Expand" details future plans, such as a Krogan Captain NFT Collection and significant game expansions.

KRO tokens can be earned through several engagement avenues within the Krogan ecosystem. One primary method is staking, where users can stake their KRO tokens or ANT (Antimatter Token, used for algorithmic rewards) to receive KRO as returns. Additionally, NFT staking allows players to generate passive KRO earnings by staking their unused Krogan NFTs, a feature introduced in Q2 2023. Beyond staking, active participation in the game's core activities, such as engaging in battles and successfully completing various in-game quests, also provides opportunities to claim KRO rewards.

KRO tokens are available for purchase on various cryptocurrency exchanges. For instance, LBank supports KRO trading pairs, allowing users to acquire the token. If KRO is not widely listed or has limited liquidity on mainstream platforms, peer-to-peer (P2P) transactions might also be an option for acquisition. The general procedure involves registering an account on an exchange, completing the necessary Know Your Customer (KYC) verification, depositing funds into the account, and then proceeding to exchange those funds for KRO tokens.
