Inception lsETH (INLSETH) is a token linked to InceptionLRT, which was an isolated Liquid Restaking protocol designed for Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs). The primary function of InceptionLRT was to facilitate the restaking of various LSTs, issuing Isolated Liquid Restaking Tokens (iLRTs) for each restaked LST. The INLSETH token operates within the Ethereum ecosystem and is built on the Ethereum blockchain. It was developed as part of the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. In March 2024, the Inception protocol initiated support for LsETH liquid restaking. The Inception platform was created to enhance the utility of LSTs by allowing restaking across multiple networks. Its goal was to improve liquidity and yield for restaked assets, particularly by addressing liquidity locking concerns within protocols like EigenLayer. Users were able to restake LSTs such as stETH, rETH, or cbETH using Liquid Restaking Tokens (LRTs), aiming to increase rewards across different networks. The project portrayed itself as a decentralized, permissionless, and curator-led protocol that adhered to the principles of Ethereum. However, as of July 11, 2025, the liquid restaking token platform Inception ceased its operations. The shutdown was attributed to the project's difficulty in establishing a "product market fit."
