IcyCRO is a community validator and token project, originating on the Cronos network and extending across the Cosmos ecosystem since November 2021. Its mission involves building decentralized infrastructure using bare metal validators and IBC relayers for various blockchain networks. The project focuses on providing low-fee, high-quality validators, acting as a top relayer, supporting other promising Cronos projects, and sharing rewards with its community. ICY is recognized as a community token within the Cosmos space.

ICY tokens are available for trading on various decentralized exchanges. Users can find ICY on platforms within the Cronos ecosystem that support such digital asset exchanges. The most active trading pairs typically involve ICY paired with wrapped versions of the native blockchain token. IcyCRO (ICY) has a total supply of 100 million tokens, minted in November 2021, which represents a hard cap with no new tokens to be minted. Plans include regular token burns, aiming to reduce the total supply to 50 million over time. At launch, 70 million tokens were locked for varying durations up to six years. Distribution includes 40% for project rewards, 30% for a bonus pool, 10% for airdrops, 10% for developers, and 10% for the Burnicy Game, with significant portions of these allocations intended for burning upon unlock.

ICY tokens offer multiple use cases. Users can stake ICY to gain various benefits, including participation in the CRO Jackpot, attaining VIP statuses, and earning APR interest. Different staking levels provide varying rewards and chances in the Jackpot. ICY holders can also play the monthly Burnicy Game to win more ICYs or burn tokens. Additionally, ICY can be used for liquidity farming on decentralized exchanges and is integrated with NFTs, such as builder packages and VIP NFTs, offering benefits like jackpot entries and exclusive promotions.

According to GoPlus, the IcyCRO contract is currently unverified. This status indicates that the contract owner retains the potential ability to implement changes to the token contract. Such changes could include actions like disabling sales, modifying transaction fees, minting additional tokens, or transferring existing tokens. Therefore, potential participants and investors are advised to exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence when interacting with the IcyCRO project.

The CRO Jackpot is a monthly raffle offering participants a share of a CRO prize pool, funded by fees and commissions from IcyCRO's validators. ICY token holders can gain entry by staking a specific amount of ICY, for example, 100,000 ICY for an "Icy ticket." Holders of VIP NFTs also receive automatic chances to win. The jackpot system involves 100 tickets, primarily held by VIP NFT holders, with some reserved for delegators. All prizes are distributed in CRO.
