HACASH DIAMOND (HACD) FAQ
What exactly is Hacash Diamond (HACD)?
Hacash Diamond (HACD) is the world’s first Proof-of-Work (PoW) NFT. Unlike traditional NFTs minted via smart contracts, HACD must be "mined" using computational energy, similar to the process used for Bitcoin. Often called "Visual Bitcoin," it is a generative art piece where each diamond is represented by a unique 6-letter combination. There is a maximum supply of 16,777,216 diamonds, and because they must be mined rather than instantly created, they represent a fusion of digital scarcity and physical energy expenditure.
How does the Hacash Tri-Token System work?
The Hacash blockchain utilizes a unique three-token model to manage its economy. HAC is the native currency used for transaction fees and the bidding process for new diamonds. HACD acts as the ecosystem's store-of-value NFT, produced through PoW mining. Finally, Bitcoin (BTC) can be integrated into the system via a one-way transfer protocol (HIP-1). This structure allows for a versatile economic environment where each asset serves a specific role: currency, collectible store-of-value, and interconnected collateral.
Why is a bidding process required to obtain a mined HACD?
This is a unique mechanic where mining a diamond only gives you the right to bid on it. Only one HACD can be produced every five blocks (roughly every 25 minutes). If multiple people mine a diamond in the same period, the one who bids the most HAC tokens wins the diamond. To prevent inflation and ensure value, 90% of the HAC used in the winning bid is permanently burned, while the remaining 10% is awarded to the block miner. This ensures that every diamond has a verifiable cost of production.
Can I mine HACD with a GPU or through a mining pool?
Currently, HACD mining is optimized for CPUs to maintain a decentralized distribution and prevent the centralization seen in ASIC-dominated networks. While some community members explore GPU mining, the official software is CPU-based. Furthermore, there are no mining pools for HACD; it is a solo-mining process. Users must run their own full node and use the "Diaworker" software to participate. This ensures that the distribution of diamonds remains fair and accessible to individual participants rather than large industrial operations.
What factors determine the value and rarity of a specific HACD?
HACD value is influenced by several on-chain factors. The 6-letter combination is primary; "clean" sets like AAAAAA or meaningful words are highly prized. Additionally, generative art protocols (HIP-5, HIP-8, HIP-9) determine the diamond's visual attributes, such as shape, color, and brilliance, directly from the blockchain data. Lastly, the sequence number matters; lower-numbered diamonds that were mined earlier are generally considered more "vintage." It is not just a text NFT, but a "living" asset that can be viewed through different visual lenses.
Where can I trade HACD and which wallets are recommended?
HACD can be traded on centralized exchanges like LBank, as well as decentralized platforms specifically built for the ecosystem like Hacash.Diamonds or HacashSea. For managing your assets, the most recommended wallet is the MoneyNex browser extension or the official Hacash Desktop Wallet for enhanced security. It is important to note that you must have enough HAC in your wallet when mining; if you win a bid but lack the funds to cover it, you will lose the diamond to the next bidder.
