Elektrik distinguishes itself with an abstracted Automated Market Maker (AMM) that incorporates advanced trading functionalities like iceberg orders, limit orders, stop losses, and conditional orders, providing traders with enhanced control. It also employs gasless rebalancing smart contracts. These contracts are designed to optimize capital efficiency, mitigate impermanent loss risks, and improve returns for liquidity providers within the ecosystem.

Elektrik's roadmap includes several key phases. In Q3 2024, Elektrik V2 mainnet is slated for launch, alongside collaborations with the LightLink foundation and enterprises for pool incentives, and the start of phase 2 of the ELTK airdrop. Q4 2024 plans involve integrating a points system, broadening the intents infrastructure, and launching phase 3 of the airdrop. For 2025, the roadmap outlines introducing various trading intents, third-party incentives, active liquidity management, further decentralizing the Elektrik Foundation, conducting phase 4 of the airdrop, and integrating cross-chain liquidity.
