Cyberpunk City is migrating from the MultiversX blockchain to Solana, transitioning the native token from CYBER to CYB. This migration utilizes a 1:10 swap ratio, meaning holders will receive 10 CYB tokens for every 1 CYBER token held. The Token Generation Event (TGE) for the new CYB token is scheduled for January 2025. To participate, users must follow official project channels to access the specific swap portal, as assets on the original chain will eventually be frozen or bridged to the new network.

The project has introduced an incentive program where users earn 'Points' and 'Multipliers' to determine airdrop eligibility. Points are accumulated through staking and general platform activity, forming the base of the allocation. Multipliers are awarded for long-term staking or holding specific 'Phase 1' NFT cases, which accelerate reward accumulation. Eligibility is based on past on-chain activity and NFT holdings. While the airdrop tokens are free, users must provide their own network fees in the native currency of the claiming chain to complete the process.

Existing NFTs are undergoing a transformation to align with the new ecosystem on Solana. Specifically, CityNFTs are evolving into MegaCorp NFTs, and CitizenNFTs are becoming Operator NFTs. These assets maintain their utility and reward structures. Stakers of the original CityNFTs will continue to receive a portion of rewards, which will transition from CYBER to CYB. New staking mechanisms will be implemented on the Solana network to ensure continued earning potential for NFT holders.

Staking in the ecosystem offers two primary paths: flexible and locked. Flexible staking allows for immediate or short-term unbonding, while locked staking (up to 12 months) provides higher multipliers in exchange for reduced liquidity. Rewards are generated via protocol emissions and game taxes from in-game transactions. Furthermore, participating in governance allows users to earn a Governance Multiplier and vote on critical decisions, such as game development and treasury spending. Those who do not participate in governance still earn base rewards but miss out on these additional incentives.

Cyberpunk City is a Free-to-Play AAA Hero Shooter built using Unreal Engine 5, ensuring high-fidelity graphics and an immersive experience. To facilitate mass adoption, the game integrates specialized technology from Solana Labs that allows traditional players to join using an email or social media login. This system automatically creates a non-custodial wallet in the background, removing the technical barriers often associated with blockchain gaming while maintaining secure asset ownership for the player.
