Cub Finance is a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform built on the BNB Smart Chain (BSC). It serves as the DeFi extension for the LeoFinance ecosystem, a well-established Web3 social community. Launched in 2021, the project was developed by the LeoFinance team to bridge social media engagement with decentralized financial opportunities. The platform allows users to participate in yield-generating activities while maintaining a connection to a broader ecosystem of social and financial applications.

LEO is the primary governance and social token within the broader ecosystem, while CUB serves as the specialized utility token for DeFi operations on the BNB Smart Chain. The two tokens function in a symbiotic relationship where revenue generated from various ecosystem applications is frequently used to buy back and burn CUB tokens. This creates a value capture loop that connects the growth of the social community directly to the utility and scarcity of the DeFi token.

These represent three distinct staking models. Farms involve traditional Liquidity Provider (LP) staking, requiring users to pair two assets. Dens are designed for single-asset staking, providing an option for users who wish to avoid impermanent loss. Kingdoms are auto-compounding vaults that utilize yield strategies across various decentralized protocols to maximize returns, paying out rewards in CUB. This structure allows users to choose a strategy based on their specific risk tolerance and technical preference.

Cub Finance utilizes several deflationary mechanisms to manage its token supply. These include deposit fees, typically ranging from 0% to 4%, and revenue generated from the LeoBridge. This capital is used to purchase CUB tokens on the open market, which are then permanently removed from circulation. By integrating these burns into daily operations, the project seeks to balance token emissions and support the long-term utility of the ecosystem.

Security is a central focus for the platform. Cub Finance has been audited by CertiK, a prominent blockchain security firm, to verify the integrity of its smart contracts. Additionally, the development team points to their multi-year track record within the Web3 space and their active community presence as evidence of their commitment to transparency and operational security. Users are encouraged to review audit documentation and engage with the community for real-time security updates.

Users can facilitate cross-chain transfers through the LeoBridge, which allows for the movement of assets between Hive, BNB Smart Chain, and other supported networks. This bridge enables the use of wrapped assets, such as bLEO, within the DeFi ecosystem. To manage these assets, users typically utilize a Web3-compatible wallet and must manually add the specific contract addresses to ensure their token balances are correctly displayed and accessible for staking or trading activities.
