In return for securing the network, participants earn rewards from protocol activities. Governance is another significant aspect of the project. Token holders can lock their assets to receive a vote-escrowed version of the token, often referred to as veSPROUT. This grants them voting power to influence key protocol parameters, such as the allocation of future emissions and strategic upgrades. This decentralized governance model ensures that the community has a direct say in the evolution of the platform.
