Cod3x is a decentralized AI (DeFAI) and Web3 project that provides an AI-driven DeFi ecosystem. It enables users to create, deploy, and automate "AI agents" designed for on-chain financial strategies. The platform utilizes two primary components: Cod3x Create, a no-code interface for building agents, and an agentic interface that translates user intent into executable actions. By merging artificial intelligence with decentralized infrastructure, Cod3x simplifies complex financial operations for all types of users.

The CDX token is central to the ecosystem with four main functions. First, it covers AI Computation costs, paying for the resources needed to run agents. Second, Staking allows users to earn yield from associated protocols and access exclusive features. Third, it facilitates Governance, letting holders vote on protocol upgrades and new product deployments. Finally, it provides Agent Enhancement, where staking CDX boosts an agent’s capabilities, such as increasing trade frequency and accessing premium data.

The project launched with a distribution model designed for high liquidity and fair discovery. The airdrop targeted three main groups: users who migrated their predecessor tokens (OATH and GRAIN) before the October 2024 deadline, members of partner communities and node operators, and active participants in the "Cod3x Alliance" point system. While most migrated tokens were liquid at the start, certain strategic reserves are subject to specific vesting schedules ranging from 6 to 48 months.

Cod3x is the result of a major transition from the legacy projects Oath (OATH) and Granary (GRAIN). This rebranding consolidated previous DeFi efforts into a unified, AI-centric ecosystem. The official migration window for legacy tokens closed on October 29, 2024. While the project has evolved to focus on "Agentic DeFi," the core team remains the same, bringing their experience in building decentralized finance protocols since 2021 to this new AI-driven era.

Cod3x Chapters are specific decentralized finance products and protocols that operate under the broader project umbrella. These Chapters provide the functional layers for AI agents to interact with. Key examples include Cod3x Lend, the ecosystem's specialized lending platform, and cdxUSD, the native stablecoin. The ecosystem is designed to be modular, allowing the community to vote on the deployment of new Chapters that expand the project's financial capabilities.

CDX is available on several mainstream blockchain networks and leading trading platforms. To ensure safety, users must verify contract addresses through official project channels, as scammers often create fake tokens during periods of high activity. Community members are strongly advised to ignore private messages containing "claim links," as official admins will never direct message users first. Always use reputable exchanges and official ecosystem bridges when moving assets between supported networks.
