Because these containers are standard tokens themselves, they can still be traded or transferred on popular marketplaces while holding their internal assets. The IONX token is the native utility and governance token of the ecosystem. Holders of IONX can participate in the project's decentralized autonomous organization to vote on protocol upgrades, fee structures, and the integration of new asset types. The token also plays a role in the protocol's incentive systems, such as staking and liquidity programs designed to support the growth of the platform.
