Beyond digital collectibles and art, the project aims to facilitate the tokenization of real-world assets such as real estate and commodities, providing a framework for representing rights and ownership on-chain. The native token for this ecosystem is MNTL. It serves several critical functions within the network: Governance: Token holders can participate in the decision-making process by creating and voting on proposals that shape the future of the protocol. Network Security: Users can stake their tokens with validators to secure the MantleChain. This participation is essential for maintaining the integrity and decentralization of the network. Transaction Utility: The token is used to pay for transaction fees, platform commissions, and creator royalties. It is also required for minting new assets on the chain. Platform Curation: Through a curation decentralized autonomous organization, the token is used to maintain the quality of the marketplace and verify the authenticity of creators and their collections. Additionally, the project offers a self-sovereign identity solution known as AMI Names, which provides universal verifiable credentials for users. This allows for a more secure and personalized experience across the various marketplaces and tools within the network.
