ASHSWAP (ASH) FAQ
What is the difference between ASH and veASH tokens within the AshSwap ecosystem?
ASH is the native tradable utility token of AshSwap. Users can convert ASH into veASH (Voting Escrow ASH) by locking their tokens for a period ranging from one week up to four years. While veASH is non-tradable and non-transferable, it grants the holder governance power, a 50% share of protocol trading fees, and yield boosts on liquidity positions.
What is LKASH and when can it be traded on platforms like LBank?
LKASH (Locked ASH) is a token distributed during initial phases that maintains a 1:1 ratio with ASH. It is non-transferable for a set period, usually three months post-launch. During this lock-up phase, it cannot be traded on exchanges like LBank. Once the restriction expires, users can convert LKASH into liquid ASH for trading or staking.
How do users qualify for the 250% yield boost on their liquidity positions?
To achieve the maximum 2.5x yield boost, users must hold a specific amount of veASH relative to the size of their liquidity position. This mechanism rewards long-term participants who lock their ASH tokens. The more veASH a user holds compared to their share of the pool, the higher the APR they can earn, up to the maximum boost limit.
How do the 'Bribe' rewards function for veASH holders?
Following a model inspired by successful stable-swap protocols, AshSwap features a 'Bribe' system. External projects can offer rewards, or 'bribes,' to veASH holders to incentivize them to vote for specific liquidity pools. By voting for these pools, holders direct higher ASH emissions toward them, earning extra income provided by the external projects in exchange for their governance influence.
Is it possible to unstake ASH tokens before the designated lock period expires?
No, there is no 'emergency unstake' feature on AshSwap. Once ASH is locked to generate veASH, the tokens are strictly illiquid and cannot be accessed until the chosen locking period has fully elapsed. This commitment ensures long-term protocol stability and aligns the interests of the governance participants with the network's growth.
Which wallets and networks are compatible with the AshSwap platform?
AshSwap is built on the MultiversX network and utilizes the ESDT token standard. Therefore, it is not compatible with MetaMask or other Ethereum-native wallets. Users must utilize MultiversX-compatible wallets such as xPortal, the MultiversX DeFi Wallet extension, or Ledger hardware wallets to interact with the DEX and manage their ASH tokens.
