The APX token offers multiple utilities within its ecosystem. Historically, it was used for trading fees. Currently, it's earned by traders and liquidity stakers as rewards. Staking APX grants voting power for DAO governance decisions, enabling community participation. Furthermore, APX stakers can earn yields by providing liquidity to Automated Liquidity Pools, and users can generate income through staking or lending APX.
What is the total supply of APX and its allocation?
The total supply of APX is capped at 10 billion tokens. Its allocation was strategically planned, with 50% designated for liquidity providers and trading rewards distributed over a decade. The community treasury received 26.2%, while 9.5% was allocated for marketing and partnerships. Early users were assigned 8.3%, retroactive mining rewards received 3.5%, and 6% was set aside for initial exchange listings.

The project, initially named ApolloX Finance, rebranded to APX Finance in November 2023 to highlight its commitment to decentralization. Subsequently, in 2025, APX Finance merged with Astherus to establish Aster, a new multi-chain decentralized exchange. This merger allowed APX token holders to swap their tokens for ASTER at a 1:1 ratio, integrating them into the consolidated ecosystem.
