$preAMP was an early incentive reward token issued by Amply Finance, designed to be redeemable 1:1 for the native $AMPLY token following the Token Generation Event (TGE). While $preAMP itself held no initial market value, it allowed early participants to accumulate stakes in the protocol. To ensure long-term stability, the conversion process typically involves a vesting schedule that prevents immediate mass sell-offs. The functional $AMPLY token provides utility beyond rewards, including staking opportunities for yield and potential governance roles within the protocol's DAO.

The "Triple Yield" mechanic is a core feature of Amply Finance designed to maximize capital efficiency for its users. It allows participants to earn returns from three simultaneous sources: first, from the yield generated by the underlying asset itself (such as liquid staked tokens); second, from the protocol's native supply rewards; and third, through additional loyalty points or ecosystem incentives. This structure is specifically designed for lenders on the Cronos zkEVM chain looking to optimize their earnings on deposited collateral.

The Paymaster feature leverages account abstraction to allow users to pay for transaction gas fees using various tokens instead of being restricted to the native network token. Efficiency Mode (E-Mode) is a technical feature that allows users to maximize their borrowing power. By grouping price-correlated assets, such as stablecoins, E-Mode enables a significantly higher Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratio. Amply Finance is a fork of the proven Aave v3 protocol and undergoes smart contract audits to protect user funds. To manage risk, the platform provides a Liquidation Simulator, helping users monitor their "Health Factor" to prevent collateral loss. Liquidations occur automatically if a user's health factor falls below a safe threshold due to market volatility. Additionally, the protocol supports "Isolated Markets," which allow for the lending of high-risk assets in segregated pools to prevent potential risk contagion from affecting the wider platform.

Amply Finance chose Cronos zkEVM because it is a high-performance ZK-rollup that offers superior scalability and security compared to traditional chains. This network supports advanced features like account abstraction, which powers Amply’s flexible gas payment options. While the chain is newer and may have specific bridging timelines for moving funds, it provides a specialized infrastructure for decentralized lending that benefits from the security of the Ethereum layer while maintaining the ecosystem advantages of the Cronos environment.

Users can acquire $AMPLY tokens through reputable trading platforms like LBank or leading decentralized exchanges within the ecosystem. To participate in the protocol, users must bridge assets to the Cronos zkEVM network to obtain necessary gas and collateral tokens.
