Alpaca City is a decentralized application (dApp) that integrates Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) with yield farming on Ethereum and BNB Chain. It features a virtual environment where users collect, trade, and breed 'Alpaca' NFTs. These digital assets possess 'Energy' levels that determine their productivity. By combining GameFi and DeFi elements, the platform allows users to utilize their NFT collections to participate in various farming activities and earn rewards through a gamified experience.

Breeding requires two parent Alpacas and a fee paid in ALPA tokens. Each Alpaca has a unique genetic sequence (genotype) that determines its traits and Energy level. Offspring inherit these characteristics from their parents. Users should be aware that breeding fees increase if the same Alpaca is used too frequently without waiting for a seven-day reset period. To support the ecosystem, 90% of all ALPA tokens collected from breeding fees are permanently burned, creating a deflationary mechanism.

Energy is the primary metric for determining yield farming efficiency. It is determined at birth based on parental genetics, and higher Energy levels provide a larger multiplier for farming rewards. Users can maximize their earnings by forming an 'Alpaca Squad' consisting of five NFTs, where the total reward is based on the squad's combined Energy. To utilize this boost, users must stake their Alpacas into the designated 'Farmer' slot of the liquidity pools when staking their LP tokens.

The ALPA token is used for breeding fees, governance voting, and staking to earn 'WOOL,' which was historically used for redeeming Generation 0 Alpacas. It is distinct from the 'ALPACA' token, which belongs to a separate leveraged farming protocol. Users should ensure they are interacting with the ALPA token specifically for Alpaca City activities. Additionally, the token features a burn mechanism where a significant portion of breeding fees is removed from circulation to manage the supply.

Alpaca City operates on both Ethereum and BNB Chain. If your Alpacas do not appear on the dashboard, it is typically because your Web3 wallet is connected to the wrong network. Switching to the corresponding chain in your wallet settings usually resolves this visibility issue. To move assets between the two supported blockchains, users must utilize the project's official bridging tools. Always ensure you are using a secure wallet interface, such as the LBank Wallet, for these decentralized transactions.

ALPA tokens are available for trading on LBank and various decentralized exchanges. To ensure security, always verify the contract address before trading.
