UBU is the native utility token of the Africarare ecosystem. Formerly known as $UBUNTU, the token was rebranded to UBU to streamline its identity across the platform. It serves as the primary medium of exchange within Ubuntuland. The maximum supply of UBU is strictly capped at 1,000,000,000 (1 billion) tokens. This fixed supply ensures long-term sustainability and transparency for the community as the ecosystem expands its virtual footprint.

UBU is primarily traded on centralized exchanges like LBank and various decentralized platforms. When purchasing through the official Africarare website, there is typically a 5% transaction fee. Out of this tax, 1% is dedicated to charitable goals, while a portion is allocated to the treasury to support ecosystem development.
