To protect the ecosystem and its users, the development team initiated a migration to a new token contract. This new version was built using cross-chain messaging technology to mitigate future bridging risks and granted the team enhanced security controls, such as the ability to pause transactions during potential exploits. The original ACS token served several core functions within the ecosystem. It was used for protocol governance, allowing holders to participate in voting on platform updates and adjustments. It also functioned as a reward mechanism for users participating in the platform's vaults and farms. Following an update to the project's tokenomics, the model shifted toward a deflationary structure. New token emissions were halted, and the protocol transitioned to a system where fees generated from its various vaults are directed to a treasury. These funds are used for periodic buybacks and burns, intended to benefit long-term holders by reducing the total supply over time. Key components of the ACryptoS ecosystem include its yield-optimizing vaults, which automate complex strategies to grow underlying assets. The platform also features ACSI Finance, a decentralized exchange based on the Balancer V2 protocol, and a StableSwap AMM tailored for low-slippage trading of stablecoins. Users holding the original ACS tokens were encouraged to migrate them at a one-to-one ratio to the new contract to continue participating in the platform's governance and benefit from its ongoing utility.
