President Donald Trump is set for a packed schedule on April 25, slated to host an Official Trump (TRUMP) memecoin gala luncheon at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, followed by the White House Correspondents' Dinner in Washington, D.C., in the evening, a lineup that raises questions on whether he can realistically attend both.

Disclosures tucked into the terms and conditions published on the event's website state that Trump "may not be able to attend" the conference and that the gathering itself could be rescheduled or canceled at the organizers' discretion, with qualified participants potentially receiving a "limited edition TRUMP NFT in lieu thereof."

The caveat clashes with promotional language still featured on the site, which advertises a "VIP Reception & Champagne Toast" with Trump for the top 29 token holders and describes the gathering in its FAQ section as an "all-day event starting at 8:30 AM."

Organizers, however, said Trump is expected to attend both events.

"Of course, the President will be attending both events," a spokesperson for Get Trump Memes said in an email to The Block. "After the conference at Mar-a-Lago, the President will fly back to Washington for the White House Correspondents’ dinner."

The correspondents’ dinner would mark Trump’s first appearance at the event after boycotting it throughout his first term. In a March 2 post on Truth Social, more than a week before the memecoin gala was announced, Trump said he had accepted the invitation and "looked forward to being with everyone."

The gala is being marketed to top holders of the TRUMP token, with invitations tied to a leaderboard ranking participants’ time-weighted holdings during a qualification period that runs through April 10. The top tier of holders are promised access to Trump and other undisclosed "superstar guests."

Trump memecoin gala part deux

The Official TRUMP coin is currently trading around $3, roughly in line with its level before the gala was announced on March 12. The token briefly jumped from an all-time low near $2.70 to as high as $4.40 following the announcement before slipping back to the $3 range, according to The Block price data.

The event echoes a similar gala for top TRUMP holders last May at Trump’s Virginia golf course, which drew scrutiny from lawmakers and watchdog groups, with several dozen even protesting outside the venue. Trump’s appearance was brief, lasting roughly 20 minutes, according to attendee accounts.

And just like the previous event, Trump's upcoming gala is drawing attention in Washington. On Wednesday, Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Adam Schiff and Richard Blumenthal sent a letter to Bill Zanker, a longtime Trump associate and promoter of the memecoin, raising questions about the event.

"It is essential that Congress fully understand the extent to which President Trump and his family are profiting off of his cryptocurrency ventures,” the senators wrote. "Congress must also take steps to prohibit and prevent these egregious conflicts of interest."

Warren, the top Democrat on the Senate Banking Committee, has been involved in broader crypto legislation discussions over the past year, where ethics concerns tied to Trump’s crypto ventures have emerged as a sticking point alongside debates over stablecoin regulation.

Representatives for the White House Correspondents' Association did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
