Crypto advocacy group Stand With Crypto is throwing its weight behind a slate of congressional candidates as it rolls out a new “voter hub” that grades lawmakers based on their positions on digital assets.

On Thursday, the Coinbase-backed organization unveiled that hub, mirroring its infamous candidate scorecard. The organization had significant sway during the 2024 elections and, over the past year, has flexed its presence in multiple state primaries as it gears up for the midterm elections in November.

"We’ve created our voter hub with the express purpose of helping voters wield their power as a potentially decisive voting bloc in races up and down the ballot," Executive Director Mason Lynaugh said in a statement. "The races we’re prioritizing for investment this cycle will focus our efforts on ensuring the 120th Congress is the most pro-crypto session in America’s history."

The crypto industry played a significant role in spending during the previous elections in 2024, spending millions of dollars, with influence going through super political action committees (PAC). Stand With Crypto launched its PAC in May 2024 with support from Coinbase to target U.S. elections.

Stand With Crypto said the new hub will provide "up-to-date information" on candidates' stances based in part on their previous statements and legislative history, the organization said.

Alongside the launch, Stand With Crypto said it will also endorse six candidates, including Reps. Zach Nunn, R-Iowa, Susie Lee, D-Nevada, Mike Lawler, R-N.Y., Don Davis, D-N.C., Greg Landsman, D-Ohio and Rob Bresnahan, R-Pa., All six received an A on the group's scorecard system.

The organization also said it plans to invest in media campaigns, email and social platforms among other routes, to get crypto voters to engage.

"To drive impact in these battleground races, Stand With Crypto will deploy an aggressive, get-out-the-vote effort anchored by its 2.7 million advocates," the group said.

Stand With Crypto also released a survey on Thursday that found that 59% of crypto owners and 77% of Stand with Crypto voters don't always vote for one party. The survey was conducted by Impact Research in February and surveyed 1,000 people who own crypto.
