Interactive Brokers (Nasdaq: IBKR) has expanded its digital asset services to the European Economic Area through an integration with Zero Hash, the S&P 500 company announced on Tuesday.
The launch is facilitated via Interactive Brokers Ireland Limited, allowing eligible individual investors in the region to trade 11 cryptocurrencies alongside traditional financial instruments.
The assets available for trading include BTC, ETH, LTC, BCH, LINK, SOL, ADA, XRP, DOGE, AVAX, and SUI, according to a statement.
Interactive Brokers said eligible users will be able to trade the crypto assets via its platform suite, including Trader Workstation, IBKR Desktop, Client Portal, IBKR Mobile, and IBKR GlobalTrader.
The platforms continue to provide stocks, options, futures, currencies, bonds, and mutual funds trading alongside digital assets, creating an experience that CEO Milan Galik said could help clients "manage risk, liquidity, and capital more efficiently across their entire portfolio."
Outside the EEA, Interactive Brokers offers crypto trading in the United States through Interactive Brokers LLC. In the United Kingdom, the service is available through Interactive Brokers (U.K.) Limited.
