A Satoshi-era bitcoin miner moved $203 million worth of BTC (BTC) to two crypto trading firms on Sunday, according to blockchain analysis provider Onchain Lens.
Onchain Lens wrote in a post on X, citing Arkham data, that the bitcoin whale transferred 2,650 BTC to FalconX and Cumberland in three transactions.
The whale still holds about 6,000 BTC, worth approximately $462 million, per Onchain Lens. While it's unclear whether the whale transferred the bitcoin to sell, such activity often precedes sales.
The move coincides with several other recent whale transactions in the crypto market. Earlier this month, a bitcoin whale address moved 500 BTC, or about $40.6 million at the time, breaking a 12-year dormancy. Last month, another bitcoin whale also transferred $20 million worth of BTC to Binance.
Bitcoin edged up 0.6% over the past 24 hours to $77,220, according to The Block's BTC price page. The world's largest cryptocurrency briefly dropped to roughly $74,600 on Saturday and remains below its all-time high of around $124,900 recorded in October 2025.
